What are the major teas of china?

okay, so im going to china(hopefully) later this month and my dad, who just came back from two weeks of being over there said that the chinese drink a LOT of unsweetened tea. so im like, "sure" and ive been drinking tea with meals and for breakfast and in place of most water. it definetly is different. anyway, he brought back three tubs of loose tea: ginseng, jasmine, and green. so i wonder, "are these the major teas of china? or are there more to get used to? or are here too many to count?"

answers would be more than awesome
