What do I do with a gift from my Dad that I dont want?

My parents told me that if I get my grades up by the end of the year they will buy me an ipod nano. My parents have known Ive wanted an Ipod for a while now and every time we get flyers or catalogues I show them the green Ipod nano I want. Recently my dad went to china and I know that he bought me a fake, black ipod nano.





my dad always does this. its not like we are having financial difficulties, and id say that we are probly more well off than most people, but he always finds the cheapest ways out of things. I dont want to go to school woth a fake Ipod, and you can clearly tell its fake. and the second thing is that I showed him the green Ipod in the catalogues every sunday for the last 2 months and he doesnt pay any attention to me at all.





I cant tell him that I dont want it, but i truly dont want it even if it means I wont have an ipod. what do i do?

Does it work? Oh, its peer recognition you're concerned with. Grow up and appreciate the thought even if your Dad has some strange ways about him. Believe me you're not going to change him.

Reply:well accept it , and if u r pen with ur father tell him that fake wont live long , so when buying original u save more money and tell him thank u for ur gift and u buy ur ipod urself
Reply:U know wat, this happened to me all the time too when i was younger. Its just so unfair, I dont know y parents do it. U know the worst thing u cant even say n e thing to ur dad, he will get very upset coz he tried to do something special for u. Dont say n e thing in a bad or nasty way, just say u checked the memory on the ipod n it doesnt store much, just mention u might sell it on ebay n ask will he add a bit more money to buy the one u want, see his reaction if he flips then u know not to do it. U will know wats best to do after he reponds to this. Its the only way out i can think of that wont waste his money, n he cant get upset with u for hating his pressie.
