I have charged it for 14 hours as instructed. Light turns green and is then flat 15 minutes later. Bought phone from China. Seller says must be something wrong with battery. I am having trouble locating a battery that says it is for the phone I bought - Can I buy another 3.7V 1300mAh battery even though it doesn't say it is for a mobile phone? Any ideas would be appreciated.
I have bought a mobile phone from ebay and the battery runs down after 15 minutes.?
If it's a new phone, explore the warranty, you should be able to get a replacement, or your money back or something. You shouldn't have to be stuck with a crap phone. Contact the seller, and the manufacturer to see if they will replace it. If not see about filing a dispute with eBay about the seller(link below)
If you can't get a new phone or have it replaced, as a last option, try getting the new battery, you won't have anything to lose; unless you like the 15 minute phone. Try to find a picture of it first to make sure the connections are compatible.
Good luck.
Reply:im not sure about the whole battery situation.... but once you find a new battery never overcharge it or charge it overnight it might drain the battery... sorry if i was of not that much help
Reply:Hmm, it could be the phone/battery itself but i don't think so.
If it's from china, i think it might be a fake faulty copy. Even though in the sellers feedback, everyone had positive replies, they reply within a couple of days and the phone problems usually start later. That's what i've noticed. Well, if the seller doesn't offer a refund, you've got a problem. xx.
