Back live! This is supposed to be a more humane world "Ha" if this was 12th century it would be but a few,and people knew no better, but with technology they can find these sharks easy. They take every fin, and throw the creature back alive. Its dead allready without its fins, it must take days to die. And the whole world does nothing. Why is it just a very few who seem to care like Green Peace who TRY and do something. Don't see there government stoping it, We have not evolved at all, man' s greed will never be satisfied barbaric customs still go on all over this planet and its allways animals at the end of it O im sorry its sport. Im sure ill get some answers from people with the brain of a pea, but hey you have more mates than I do. Thank god.

You don't just take what you need and leave the fish to bleed to death in the water, possibly even attracting other predators.


That's inhumane and cruel.


The Shark has survived millions of years just fine, until mankind decides to hunk it for His selfish purpose.

Reply:China %26amp; Japan are extremely profitable trading partners of the major countries of this world so these countries would rather keep their mouths shut than threaten that trade..Sad but true. we could make our own feelings known by boycotting goods from Japan and that go's for Whale hunting too

Reply:You are right. Animals that live in the sea get less attention and thus less protection than those which live on land. Sharks are in real trouble and governments should be doing more and not pander to the fishing industry. Did you see this article?
